Year 0–2 — Study Phase

Complete Trade Qualification

Complete your Certificate III, IV, or Diploma. Work up to 48 hours per fortnight. Practical components (apprenticeship/traineeship) do not count toward work hours. Earn $25–$35/hr in trade-related jobs.

Year 2–3 — 485 Graduate Visa

Apply for Temporary Graduate Visa

Apply for the 485 visa after completing your course. Begin the Job Ready Program (JRP) — a 4-stage process requiring 1,725 hours of employment in your nominated trade with a registered employer.

Year 3–4 — Skills Assessment & EOI

Complete TRA Assessment + Lodge EOI
