Jobs are likely to exist in future

Table of Contents

  • Top five jobs likely to step into the Future
  • Applications software developers:
  • Solar energy Engineer:
  • Autonomous transportation specialist:
  • Cybercity analyst:
  • Artificial intelligence assistant:

Do you remember life before all these emerging technologies we have today?

What life was like before Facebook, YouTube or Twitter?

As per the World Economic Forum, 65% of the students entering primary school today will end- up working in completely new fields that do not exist now.

Well! This is exciting news for that era’s generation but extremely daunting for people involved in education and employment today. As predicted that by 2025 we will lose over 5 million jobs to automation. However, there will always be multiple options for new jobs available for graduates.

As countries are going toward digitalization and governments are putting in more funds and efforts on new emerging technology and machinery. Educational institutes are starting to technologically enrich their curriculum and redesigning it more efficiently with the help of technology. That to help new graduates with the right skill set to enter the market to have the best possibilities of employment.

It is not very far that technological advances revolutionize administrative tasks within offices, food preparation and transportation and take over most of the jobs that are done manually today. Titles like app developers and social media directors are among those that did not exist a decade ago. With all the talks about IT and AI, We have gathered some of the information that predicts the jobs most likely to exist in the future.

Top five jobs likely to step into the Future

Applications software developers:

Although Application software developers are highly in demand in today’s world as well. They are the smart brain sitting behind computers; some of them develop applications and soft wares and some build systems.  These software developers usually work alongside programmers.  As per the studies, from 2016 till 2026 there would be 255,400 new projected positions for software developers in different sectors. Universities are already providing multiple courses for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for application software development. Educational institutes are thriving to provide students with a new skill set needed to become expert application software developers.

Solar energy Engineer:

The usage of solar energy is increasing day by day; the world is focused on consuming and utilizing solar energy at its best. Companies are using solar energy for their operations to cut their expenses. Solar energy engineers are those who make it easy to consume and utilize solar energy. They are the individuals working in the solar energy industry to construct, manufacture and maintain solar power materials and solar power plants. Solar energy is one of the growing industries right now and not only solar energy engineers are interested to peruse their career in this industry but Software, Electrical and Chemical engineers are also shifting toward solar energy.

Autonomous transportation specialist:

Autonomous transportation specialists can be one of the jobs that will emerge with the new technology. If the future includes self-driving cars, drones than we would need a specialist to monitor them. These industries would need people who are experts in these fields, and this is where people will be more focused on getting a skill set related to these fields. This would be one of the available opportunities for employment we have in the future. Many educational institutes in the world are already focusing on this and adding courses and programs related to these fields to their curriculum. In future industries would need people to integrate these autonomous vehicles onto the current system. And these occupations would be one of the highest-paid jobs in the world.

Cybercity analyst:

As the world is going toward automation and digitalization in the future the need for expert analysts in this field would increase rapidly. It is no secret that automation would be known as smarter cities. There would be a concept of big data that is already present in this current world and people are rapidly talking about it in different corners of the world. A constant flow of data, relating to each citizen, external factors like weather and other assets would need to be managed and analyzed on timely bases. We would need specialists and experts to manage, maintain and forward this data to make the most use of it effective way.

Cybercity analysts would work on these data and will play crucial roles to ensure the safety of future cities and make sure that cities run smoothly. We still have roles like these working in this present world but in limited sectors. It would be one of the most important roles in the smart cities of tomorrow.

Artificial intelligence assistant:

Artificial intelligence is the intelligence demonstrated by machines that gain knowledge and process it exactly the way the human brain does by experiences and occasions. Machines that can copy human functions such as cognitive functions like thinking, problem-solving and learning are likely to have AI. We see multiple examples of AI in our day-to-day function, Alexa and Google home is a prominent example of AI. As these AI can mimic many executive assistance functions perfectly like organizing meetings, scheduling, maintaining calendars etc. This can be the biggest threat EA’s of today.

No change comes overnight; Artificial intelligence is making its place in the world at a rapid pace. Executive assistance should specialize in utilizing AI to their benefit to work efficiently with it in the future. They should embrace AI instead of resisting it. Universities already have multiple degree programs and graduate diplomas in AI and IT to provide the needed skills to improve their capability of work.
