Bachelor of Business

The Bachelor of Business is a flexible qualification that develops your knowledge, skills and understanding of business and commerce through global and local contexts. You will be supported to be an innovative thinker and be able to meet the challenges of a changing business world.

Degree Details

The Bachelor of Business equips you with the career and professional skills you need to succeed. Communication, presentation and problem-solving skills are emphasised throughout the course. You will be supported to develop fundamental business knowledge and understanding, with the opportunity to specialise in particular areas of interest.

Entry requirements for the Bachelor of Business are dependent of the single or double major award streams you are applying for; these are listed in the two blocks below.

For the customised selection or the following award streams:

  1. Strategic Marketing and Communication
  2. International Management and Logistics
  3. Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  4. Strategic Marketing and Communication and International Management and Logistics
  5. Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Strategic Marketing and Communication
  6. International Management and Logistics and Entrepreneurship and Innovation

We recommend you apply for a credit transfer if you've previously completed your study. This can be from a course you've completed at CDU or another institution.

You need to have completed your course within the last 7 years, and it should be relevant to the new course you're studying.

If it's been longer than 7 years since you completed your course, we suggest you apply for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) instead.

Credit will appear on your Academic Record as either a unit (if the unit you completed directly matches the learning outcomes of a CDU unit) or as several credit points at a certain level. This is called unspecified credit and can be used in place of any general electives in your study plan.

  • Strategic Marketing and Communication
  • International Management and Logistics
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • Strategic Marketing and Communication and International Management and Logistics

  • Tourism and Destination Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Project Management
  • Work Health and Safety
  • Hospitality

Credit from your previous VET pathway studies will be credited towards the Bachelor of Business, leaving two years of study to complete.
