Who is eligible for Chevening Scholarships?
Pakistani candidates need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for Chevening:
- Candidate must have an undergraduate degree that is equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours in the United Kingdom
- Must be a Pakistani Citizen
- Your application must list three courses that are eligible for a Chevening Scholarship
- Must have a GPA between 3.0 and 3.59
- Two-year work experiences at least
- Two reference letters
- IELTS Score
- An unconditional offer letter from a UK university
One more special condition that a successful candidate must fulfil is that once the scholarship ends the students must return to Pakistan for two years minimum.
How to apply for Chevening Scholarships?
There are a few key things you need to do when applying for the Chevening Scholarship. The first is to make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria, which we have listed above. If you meet the criteria, you will then need to complete an online application form and submit it by the deadline.
Find a Course

Interview and Supporting Document
After your application has been reviewed if you are among the shortlisted applicants. you will be asked to attend an interview at a British Embassy or High Commission.
